Charles B. Corbin

"Becoming Physically Educated in the Elementary School" is a textbook for teachers of elementary physical education classes. It is based on the Teaching-Learning Process, focusing on studying the needs of learners by constructing sound student learning objectives, planning and implementing active lessons, and learning effective methods of student and program assessment. Issues important to implementing a quality physical education program in the elementary school are explored.  Descriptions of basic motor skills and plans of organization are provided.
